Hi all,
I apologize for the lack of posting but I haven't been doing a lot of nail art lately, mostly swatches, if you wanna see those follow me on instagram @moriesnailart Now for the fun stuff, this mani was inspired by a pattern I saw online and I feel inl ove with because of all the contrasting bright colors on a dark background. Happy Friday everyone!
Today I have a super easy and fun nail art tutorial featuring a tiny bee with a honeycomb design. You can watch it below or go to my youtube channel Moriesnailart. Hope you like it. Hi all,
I have another Valentine's day inspired mani today, this one took me a while to do since each letter and tiny branch is a separate stamp but I'm really pleased with the final result. The base color is White (that's the name, don't blame me) from the Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Crayola Collection, then I added the letters with the Moyou London Typography 05. The rest is made from a mix of everything I had nearby so I won't list it here. Hi all,
Spring is in the air after last week's storms on the east coast so I'm ready to rock flowery and colorful manicures, for this one in particular I found inspiration from an image online but I can't remember if it was a wallpaper or a pattern on a dress so please forgive my really bad memory. The base color for this is the lovely OPI Spoken from the Heart from the Hello Kitty collection, as you can see from the bottle it's a hot pink jelly, stamped with Essie Good as Gold and the BP 73 plate (Born Pretty Store). The roses were colored in with OPI Breakfast at Tiffany's and Barielle Smarty Pants Pink. Hi Guys,
I have the second polish from the Bliss Polish spring collection today, this is a neon yellow creme, it's a really bright but not highlighter bright polish, which only makes it even prettier. The application was a bit tricky, it's on the thick side you it makes it streaky in the first 2 coats but it can be evened out with a third one, I did thicker coats and it didn't take that long to dry but I still wish the formula was a bit easier to work with. Anyways, on to the pics: Hi guys!!
I had different plans for my St. Patrick's Day nails but most of my stamping plates are still in moving boxes (cause I'm moving again on Sunday) so I decided to go for something simple and cute like a green holo gradient using Color Club Halo Hues in Angel Kiss and Kismet (I notice a pattern there) and also I found that super cute stamp on my Moyou London Origami 10 plate. The pattern looks like shamrocks to me so it matched the theme. For the stamp I wanted to do dark green but I didn't have any so I tried mixing MDU Black with Avocado that's why some fingers have a lighter stamp than others, not exactly what I wanted but it's still pretty (don't judge!) Hi guys,
Today I have my first spring mani even though it's still winter but it's been warmer outside these past few days and I got the Deborah Lippmann Sweets for my Sweet collection on Valentine's so I've been dying to start painting my nails in pastel colors because they're my favorite thing ever. I really like dark colors as well and when I see them on other girls nails I think to myself that looks so good but I don't like taking them off cause they can stain your cuticles and be a mess and I'm just lazy for clean ups, lets be honest. Enough rambling, on to the mani... The base color is DL Candy Girl which is a pale pink with violet undertones, some pics might not look it but there's really more purple than red in there, application was easy, just 2 coats. For the flowers I used the same stamp twice, first with MDU Barbie and then with MDU Fantasy. Stamping plate is Moyou London The Pro 06. Hi guys,
I have another New Year's mani today, I tried a million different options for fireworks stamps and none of them looked good enough so I decided to keep it simple cause I was getting frustrated and couldn't make it work. I pulled this beauty from my stash called Lady of the Lake by AEngland cause of the awesome holo sparkle it gives out, and added a simple gold starry stamp from the Moyou London Festive 06 plate and with China Glaze Passion that I mixed with some Kleancolor Metallic Red to give it a little extra color like fireworks have. It's not the best design but I think it can work out if you don't have time to do a full on, out of this world mani. What do you think? Hi guys!
I have my first design for New Years Eve, I've actually done this design before and I loved it but I never got around to taking a picture and post it, so I decided I'll give it a try again cause it's just so fun for a party. The first thing I did was to paint my nails black, it's a great base color when you're doing a metallic gradient cause it makes the colors pop, then I used a bunch of L.A Girl metallic polishes for the vertical gradient, 2 different colors on each nail using a sponge. Finally I stamped some serpentines using the BM-H14 and OPI Push and Shove. Hi guys,
Can't believe the year's gonna end this week, I already have a couple of New Year's designs planned to help you get inspired but I thought it was a bit too soon to post them so instead I have an attempt at a winter mani. I actually say this pattern only and tried to replicate it, it's not exactly the same but I still think it looks cute. As base color I used NOPI Goodbye Shoes, which looks teal on the pics but it's actually more dark gray, I stamped the leaves with Moyou London Enchanted 15 and MDU Bones, then added a few dots here and there with a dotting tool.
